Vietnam Product Safety CR Certification
Vietnam CR Mark Certification is a safety certification controlled by the Vietnamese Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ). STAMEQ designates the Vietnam Quality Certification Center (QUACERT) as the issuing body to issue CR mark certificates, and designates the Vietnam Quality Testing Center (QUATEST) to perform testing on electronic and electrical products. STMEQ promulgated and implemented the Product Certification system in 1996. Regulations stipulate that all electronic and electrical products within the scope of CR mark certification must pass product testing and factory inspection to obtain a CR mark certificate and affix the CR mark before entering the Vietnamese market.

Vietnam MIC Certification
Vietnam MIC certification refers to the certification standards promulgated by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), covering a wide range of areas including radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, and information technology equipment. The purpose is to ensure that products meet national and regional safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and communication regulations, ensuring consumer safety, health, and ease of use, while also promoting product exports and strengthening international trade cooperation and exchanges. Vietnam MIC certification must be conducted by a local Vietnamese testing institution. Applicants need to submit relevant materials, including product samples, technical documents, and certificates. Certification fees are payable upon application, and the certification cycle generally takes around 30 days.
MIC certification is based on test reports issued by qualified laboratories such as CNAS/A2LA to apply for certificates.
