BIS Certification in India:
BIS: Abbreviation for Bureau of Indian Standards.
The applicant for BIS certification is the manufacturer/factory. Currently, there are 30 categories of controlled products. Controlled products must be tested and registered according to specified standards in an officially authorized and recognized laboratory in India; and the certification mark must be displayed on the product itself or its outer packaging before it can enter the Indian market; otherwise, the goods will not be able to clear customs.

WPC Certification in India:
The full name is Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing. It is the Indian agency that regulates wireless regulations. All wireless products must obtain WPC approval before entering the market. Wireless product certification in India can be divided into two modes: ETA (Equipment Type of Approval) certification and License. The judgment is based on the operating frequency band used by the applied equipment. For free bands, ETA certification needs to be applied for; if the equipment uses other non-free bands, such as GSM, WCDMA mobile phones, etc., then a license needs to be applied for.

TEC Certification in India:
The Telecommunications Engineering Centre of the Indian Ministry of Telecommunications issued a formal mandatory notification for TEC certification on March 12, 2019. The Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecom Equipment (MTCTE) stipulates that all telecommunications equipment will be mandatory starting August 1, 2019. At that time, telecommunications equipment that has not obtained TEC certification will not be able to be sold in the Indian market, otherwise it will face huge fines and delisting penalties.
The TEC certificate is valid for 5 years and needs to be held by the factory. Information on the local representative in India needs to be provided, and some telecommunications products need to be sent to local laboratories in India for testing.
